Topshop Appreciation(?)

Hello! I am alive! Thank you everyone for not leaving me! Sorry, I've just been so busy working and feeling so uninspired and unmotivated, basically my life is not where I planned it would be and I just can't seem to push myself to do anything creative. But the other day I felt really creative so I actually drew and made myself go outside in the cold to take some photos.

And I am not joking when I say cold. I froze my butt off to take these photos. My sister, who usually takes the photos is at Uni, so I had my SO take them for me... he has shaky hands anyway and the cold really didn't help so I only managed to get a few good photos which weren't too blurry (plus a majority of them I look crazy in them). If you look closely enough you'll see me tearing up cause of the wind.

As you may not know, I am currently working as a Visual Merchandiser for Outfit, which is part of the Arcadia group... and hello staff discount! Basically my whole outfit is Topshop... but this was a happy accident, I didn't plan to go full Topshop.

These jeans are my new favourite go-to jeans, they are super comfy and the add that little bit of edge when you can't be bothered to dress up. & I love this denim coat! The only problem with it is that it really isn't warm enough, so I'm going to have to put it away till it gets slightly warmer :( Good job I recently bought another coat, then my SO bought me one too...

Let's talk about Co-ords!*

Hello everyone! How are you all?

Just wanted to share with you my love for Co ords! To be quite honest, I've always loved the trend when it first came out, but have not actually been brave enough to buy any!

I've been surfing the interwebs, and have found that they aren't actually that expensive, and they are so easy; no need to find something to match your new skirt or top!

They are perfect for summer, I'm going on holiday in August and am planning to get some, but the question is which one(s) should I get?

Kaleidoscope Dreams

Hello everyone! & all my new followers! I have passed the 50 mark on bloglovin! Thank you :D and thank you Amy Valentine for featuring me in your Fashion Favourites, Jan 2014! Really appreciate it!

I really can't wait for the it to get warmer, so I can take my camera and go for walks! For now you'll just have to deal with my over photoshopped photo...

I've recently got a new job and it requires me to wear all black, so my outfits are probably going to get a lot darker! I bought these shoes from my trip to Tokyo, I love them, they are super comfy and are fur lined which keeps my feet nice and toasty, but I have seen similar styles of them everywhere.

The kaleidoscope pattern below was actually something I made during Uni and thought it looked nice with my skirt, so I recycled it! If you want to check out my portfolio, click here!

Iridescent Purple

Finally, I got something off one of my wishlists! This Topshop sweat dress! I was waiting for the sun to come out so I could wear this with my new mesh socks I bought from Japan! I love these socks, they're so cute; pastel purple with a mesh section. I have seen similar ones on Asos here for only £4! Unfortunately, the weather fooled me, it looked bright and sunny but it was actually freezing... I had so many weird looks from people who were wearing big padded jackets and scarves.

Sorry these photos are kinda rushed, I didn't want to miss the sun! I had to wait for my sister to finish school to help me so only had a short time to take photos. As you can see, I did try to jazz one of the photos up... (emphasis on try)

Wonderful Sunny England

I would like to take this opportunity to say a very belated Merry Christmas and Happy New year!! Better late then never, eh? Hope everyone receives good fortune and may 2014 be better than 2013!

I have returned from Asia! I had an amazing start to 2014, and an amazing time in Asia with my beautiful bf, and I even had the chance to go to Tokyo, Japan, as well as Hong Kong. Though now I'm already missing Asia... but hopefully now I can update more, especially with all the stuff I've bought... and get back to doing outfit posts.

Well, anyway, here's a few photos from my trip! My outfits aren't exactly inspiring, so apologies for that, but I decided to choose comfort over style because I'm an old lady like that. Also, the weather in Tokyo was sooo cold (especially as we have been in HK for 2 months).

Looking back on my trip, I really regret not taking more photos. I did however buy a new camera in HK! Just a nice digital camera that I can carry around and not lug around my DSLR. I took it to Ocean park in HK, then my memory card decided to error and I have forever lost those photos.... oh sadness, so I had to make due with my trusty iphone.

We (I say we, but I mean my bf) won lots of stuffed toys at Ocean Park; unfortunately we had no space or weight to bring them all back D: It was lots of fun though!

*note: you're going to be bombarded with photos now! I did try to narrow them down, but I want to show you all the things we did!

Hong Kong Haul

So as I am in Hong Kong, I have obviously done some shopping! Though I am having to control myself, as I do not have that much money, and no job D: But there's just so much I want to buy! Someone send me some monies, please.

I know it does sound like I'm always making up excuses, but for nearly the last month, I have lent my laptop to my friend (she has some uni things to do, so being the lovely person I am, I let her use it), so I haven't had a chance to update as frequently as I would have liked. She needs it again, but I should be getting it back next week, so I can update weekly, fingers crossed.

I was originally going to have an outfit post, but it turns out my boyfriend cannot take photos to save his life! I don't mean to be horrible (I love him very much and stuff), but seriously! None of the photos came out useable... so he's going to need a little bit of practice.

Anyway, here's a few of the things I have bought... (I have more stuff!), a random photo of me posing by the window, and other miscellaneous things.

Hong Kong

Greetings from Hong Kong! Finally here now, I'll update with an outfit post soon... just trying to settle in and get used to people staring first. Don't think it helps that I have pink hair and a caucasian boyfriend! & I need to find a nice quiet location...

Been in Hong Kong for about a week now, and I'm knackered! Going out everyday is not for me! Haven't really had the opportunity to take lots of photos, as I've only brought my big DSLR and I don't want to carry it around. But soon, when I get more used to HK. Above photo is from my instagram, my room view :D Isn't it pretty?

Before I go, here are some boring photos so far... I really need to take more photos! and they are from my iphone...
Awesome donut with marshmallows on. Green tea latte... which I don't know how I feel about. Pizza flavoured Pringles!

October Wishlist

I've completely missed out my September wish list and jumped straight to October! Half way through putting this together I thought about doing a Halloween themed one... but alas it's a bit late now!

I'm really liking simple, plain coloured clothing at the moment, so my wishlist this month consists of black and grey hues with a hint of green.

I'm going to Hong Kong in November (ohmygosh!), so I restraining myself from spending any money; meaning I can't buy anything! I'm hoping to find some nice and cheap items in HK. Item 11 on the list, Topshop Backpack, is on sale at the moment, but still out of my budget. It's gorgeous, though, so if anyone wants to buy me a going away present...

Fall into Autumn

Hello all! My apologies once again for the lack of posts! It wasn't intentional, I promise. I really admire people who constantly update! Give me some tips! Such a bad blogger... even missed out LFW.

Also, I would like to thank Charmaine from Charmaines Closet for featuring me on her blog :D and hello to my new followers!

As the weather is starting to cool, I've brought out some of my knitwear! I woke up early today and it seemed like the perfect weather for a heavy knit jumper, but boy was I wrong! By the time we went out to shoot (around the afternoon time), it got really hot and I kinda regretted wearing a jumper.

I really like these jeans from Topshop, they're from last year but its made from 2 types of material, denim on the front and a jersey type thing on the back; they are super comfortable.

I am aware the first two photos are the same... but I couldn't decide which one I liked best, so here's both of them.

Summer's Nearly Over

Ah, I've been so bad, I'm still new to this blogging business so please forgive my lack of posts! Just being trying to sort my life out... looking for jobs, etc. I've been so poor D: But I've finally found a job. I promise to try and post more!

Considering summer is nearly over, I should take full advantage of the sun.... before the dark days dawn upon us.

In one of my previous posts, I spoke about sunflower sunglasses, and here they are! Aren't they cute. I have quite a mixture of florals in this look, from the sunflowers on my dungarees to my floral bag. I like flowers. If you look close enough, that is a mini totoro plushie attached to my bag, hehe, & my necklace is tiny binoculars!
